This is a piece I created for an art show at Cafe Minnie’s in Seattle. It was also used in an art show at Shoreline Community College in Seattle.
I filled a glass with sparkling wine and set it in the window in direct sunlight so it would cast a shadow against a dark piece of poster board. Once loaded into Photoshop, I began to deconstruct the image. I created a hand-drawn effect while leaving a portion of the glass untouched to give life to the piece as though the admirer was witnessing its transformation into reality. This piece sells well.
